Little House on the Praire Wannabe

Arianna had a horrible habit of running away from the younger ones, and locking herself in her room to "think". The rule is the door stays open...only for getting dressed, and sleeping is the door closed. Arianna keeps breaking this simple rule. So I h...ad the wonderful idea of taking the door off of the frame....

So one night, as they were laying in bed, both Bella and Arianna started to bawl their heads off. You would of thought I took away their privilege to drive for staying out past crewfew! It was *THAT* bad!
I told them as nicely as I could without loosing it, (by bursting out laughing) that until they learned to get along nicely with each other, and didn't slam doors, lock them and exclude one another the door would stay off.
Besides, I said, "It's kind of cool! Like Little House of the Prairie"
Arianna with her most poutiest face I have seen for the longest time told me, "But Carrie had a door to *her* little room!" And then I said, "No she didn't Arianna"
Arianna said, "Well, she had that little cloth thing hanging!"

Then I said, "Oh you mean like a curtain. Now *THAT'S* a wonderful idea! I'll put a curtain up! How about that!?"

Arianna gives me the blankest stare. I have a slight hunch she really didn't take to well to that idea.
